W123 rear spoiler

Has anyone ever seen a rear spoiler on a W123? Better yet, does anyone have a photo of one. I am curious as to what it would look like. I'm thinking of a small one on the lip of the trunk. Not a big Fast and Furious wing. I would like to see what a big Charger Daytona/Superbird wing would look like.

In the late 80s a friend of mine dropped a 250 gasser and 5-speed into a 240D body then added a very Miami Vice looking AMG body kit. I remember the spoiler looking like the one on a 190E 2.3-16. I'll see if he has any digital pics of it.

How about the understated spoiler from a previous gen M5?

Try and get ahold of an AMG catalog, either from AMG West, or one of the German ones from www.ebay.de if you need one to see a good picture of them. I have tyhe original US AMG price list from 1988 and the spoiler you are talking about for the W123 is AMG part # 7088011, retail $245, dealer price $196 That is from the Westmont Illinois facility that is not in business, (parts bought out probably by Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories, AMG West and who knows else? - AMG West still in business in Richmond Calif., might be worth a call, not on the net)

It would be pretty hard, but not impossible, to get a an OEM AMG spoiler, but nice if you could find one

The rear OEM AMG spoiler would be painted in the body color of the car, it is part of the kit

I saw a Euro version W123 280CE coupe (Euro bumpers and lights, euro wind deflector, velour seats) that had a black rubber ducktail spoiler, bodey color was yellow though, it didn't look too bad, that wasw in SF a couple of years ago, guy lived in my neighborhood then

Come to think of it I believe there was a foam spoiler for the W123 available in the 80s under the Foha brand. Looked something like this -

Even had the notch for the star.

Thank you for the photos, This is exactly what I was wondering about. I have been wondering what those headlights would look like too. Someone out there must have or make body kits for a W123. Thanks again.
