As I mentioned in my previous post there is a point where I throw in the towel personally. When it comes to the various Vaccuum systems and electrical systems in my 126's dashboard I call in the experts. Most mechanics have a diagnostic fee that they charge and apply to the repair costs.

If you want to correctly diagnose and test the very complicated climate control system I would suggest buying one of the books for your car. And not just one of the crummy haynes manuals. You will end up spending the same amount on the books as you will the diagnostic fees in most cases. Unless your a weekend tinkerer like some people they won't do you much good until you have another problem with the car.
