C36 Closed Loop Problems

Hey everyone, I dynoed my 1995 C36 AMG 125000kms yesterday, and its down on power, 200whp, and talking to the dyno guys and looking at dyno plot at the A/F reading its not coming out of closed loop at WOT, wondering if anyone has any idea what it could be, my idea was maybe throttle position sensor, any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I'd be interested in knowing about this as well. I thought only the old CIS-E cars went to "open loop" at WOT.

Bump

Also, idle is decidedly lumpy, and car sounds a bit like a diesel at idle

My 95 C36 has a rough idle too, clackety-clack but it smooths down when revved. I think it is inherent in the design.

Not sure, as when I first got it about a month ago it sounded great at idle, and was not lumpy, the Diesel noise does go away when it is revved though

Here in the USA, MB removed WOT from our cars in 1993 on all EFI injected cars..a loss of approx 10-15HP.....sounds like that is also the way your car is set-up!

Hmm, dont think so as New Zealand have always had the European spec cars, and we have no emissions testing here either, my friends C230K was only 18 kilowatts less than my C36 on the same dyno and that went WOT
