94 E320 Tranny Shifting Issue During Acceleration

Hi everyone, I have a 94 E320 with 90K miles one owner car that has always been Dealer maintained. Transmission seems tight and no odd noises or quirks other than at about 60mph or above, when I press the accelerator...well...Floor it actually, there is an almost slipping feeling like it is not catching the downshift. If I speed up slowly, there is no issue. What in the world could cause this? I have no idea. Thanks in advance for any help!

Based on personal experience, it sounds like your AT Fluid level is low

Sounds like you're low on fluid and/or need a filter change. I'd start by checking the level.

I was thinking it could be the Transmission Kickdown Switch. From everything I have read, it seems to match the description given for when that item goes bad. But, I will try to ATF fluid first, may even just go ahead and get the tranny serviced to be sure. Thanks for your input.
