Trunk Seal - w126
 

While waiting for a buddy to come over yesterday, I pulled my trunk seal off with the replacement one in hand. He arrived, we removed my transmission, and I bid him farewell, get some beer.

Now I can't remember how the old trunk seal was stuck in here. Anybody have a clear photo?

i took some, they don't really show it well. the main thing to remember is to glue it in after you are sure it is correctly installed, and that the section that is flat, ie without any curvature goes to the section where the latch is, near the rear lights,

So the lip goes towards the inside of the trunk? Got it, thanks.

it has to fold over when closed to allow the water to run throught the channel and not in the trunk, i used the 3m weatherstrip adhesive on mine
