Is it possible for a W201

My car does not have the outside temperature display so I am thinking if it is possible to install one? I can see some used parts from ebay that with the display and so wire but i am not sure if it is a simple plug and play. Or i will need a whole new dushboards? plus a lot of wiring to make it work?

anyone has such experience before?

thx

my euro 500sel did not have one installed, i went to the junk yard and bought all the wiring up to the plug in the dash, which on that model has a plug under the fuse box, took me about 45 min to remove, had to connect harness to fuse 11 and to the light signal connection to illuminate the unit. took about 1.5 hrs to install. was well worht it.

what all do you need? i have some displays, i believe all are Farenheit, but may have celcius, all should be pretty much the same. i could pull one here from a 126 and send it to you in HK. i plan a trip to the wrecking yard this saturday.
