Need a Resistance Spec!
Hi all,
Does anyone have the resistance specs for the temp switch over valve that sits on top of the thermostat housing where the upper rad hose comes in. I can't find it in my CD manual... Thanks. |
Should be the 212F switch for aux fans....simply a switch that becomes a "closed" circuit at that temp.

If you are talking your 1991 124 , it would be a NTC thermister [ after 1990].
Specs are : Temp C.---Ohms 20-2500 30-1700 40-1170 50-830 60-600 70-435 80-325 90-245 100-185 |
Expletive.
Now I'm one of those guys... Car is a '75 450SL. Sorry about that. Do the readings listed stand up? I believe in the 450 it has to do w/ fuel/timing, but correct me if I'm wrong... |
No Good .
My info was for your 124 chassis.............. |
