good day everyone.

i have a 92 300e. the inside door lock on passenger side does NOT lock [or unlock] all the doors, when pushed down or pulled up from the inside. it does however work with the key and it will lock the doors when i exit the car.the lock on the driver side works fine.

i was at the dealer yesterday for a oil change,my mechanic looked at this[he did not however remove the door panel]he couldn't understand why it would partially work.

has anyone had a similar problem? INPUT NEEDED please.

questions,comments or snide remarks?

i recently put "french yellow" bulbs in my euro lights 60/55 watts. has anyone else used them or does anyone else run these lights? i know they aren't as bright, but [imho]i think they look pretty cool.

there are a few pictures on my web page. check it out...

thanks

To me, it sounds like the link between the knob and the actual lock is missing or has fallen off. This happened with my 190e once. When you use the key from the outside, does the knob move up/down or does it stay stationary? You should pull the door panel off and have a look.

Does the inside knob go up and down under any circumstances?
if it does not, sounds like you are disconnected, if it does, then you may have a vacume problem. In any event the panel must come off for an inspection.
