Hard Starting E320
Hello, i am new to this forum. I have a few questions about my 1997 E320. This morning it would not start. It turned over slowly so i used my jump box to start it. It started fine with the jump and ran fine. When i turned it off it did the same for the rest of the day. The headlights seem to be on full, i don't have any low charging warnings. Could it be the starter going, The battery? I blamed it on my child the first day because i let him in there and he was turning switches on and off but i checked tonight and there aren't any lights left on. I don't know what else could be draining the car. Like i said all the lights and accessories seem to to functioning ok. Where should i look first? I Looked thru some ofthe posts on this subject and some said Crankshaft position sensor when hot. But mine would not start first thing this morning the first time then won't start thruout the day. Thanks

It could be many things but you are describing clasic dead battery syndrome. It may just need a good charge (with charger, driving around may not be enough) or it could be a goner.
Read this, http://www.mbusa.com/care/client-care/roadside-assistance.do If I remember correctly, they can also install a new battery, no labor or delivery charges, you just pay for the battery. Good Luck, Dan
