Mercedes Superchargers
Which type of supercharger does Mercedes use, centrifigul or Roots? The installation of the centrifigul is much easier, I understand, than the Roots type. I believe the centrifigul is the type most comonly used for drag racing.
I had a 1989 Thunderbird SC which had the Roots type. It gives a much better boost in the lower RPM range and a higher boost overall.

The 4cyl use a roots/eaton type.
The AMG 6's and 8's use the lyscholm screw type.
