89 300e air conditioning
I Am Having Trouble With Ac Service On My 300e. I Cannot Get The Suction Side To Accept A Charge It Will Not Create Enough Of Something That Will Draw The Refrigerant Into The Sytem Even If The Compressor Is Manually Engaged W/ A Bypass Of The Low Pressure Switch. Is There A Trick And I Am Missing It? Any Help Will Be Gratfully Appreciated
Thanks In Advance Dan |

Answer:
I have tried to answer you by PM...
However your box is over full. Best guess: It is full of sent messages or confirmations that need to be deleted. Your PM with further data not in this post. automatic a/c -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello im new on this site. got a problem 1989 300e. The a/c stopped blowing cold so i went ahead and serviced the system tried one can of r-12 and compressor did not come back on. so went to the good old manual mode of turning the compressor on and did not get any action from the suction side , it will not pull the r=12 into the system. is there a filter in the system, i believe its called a orfice tube and if so where is it.? moms mad cause her ride does not make cold air so she takes my truck. any help would be appreaciated. please excuse the punctuation but i hope the message gets thru. the car has 230,000 miles on the clock mom would part with a grandkid before she would part with this car, help help help thanks dan Questions: #1. Why do you think it needs refrigerant charging? #2. is the compressor clutch engaged? #3. What is current system pressure, static and High/Low side running?
