Troy,

The european C class never had fog lights in the bumper either. What I meant was that the pre 98 models have the fog light besides the grill and the high beam below the low beam unit. The after 97 models have the high beam units besides the grill and the fog lights below the low beam units. All the units (low beam, high beam and fog light) are cased in the head light units.

I presume that you have power seats as well? I have only seen ONE W202 C class with power seats in the Netherlands yet, so to get a new wood trim will get me to the MB dealer.

Do you have a cloth interior or MB tex interior? The gray color you have in your car will be the MB Orion gray...(similar color as I have in my car).

I recently send a 7kg box of wires to the states for $50...I don't know what the door panel sized boxes will cost though...

Let me know what kind of interior you have and I will ask around.

greetingz,

More info Steve

Hi Steve (everyone else as well),

Sorry about misunderstanding your headlight descriptions.

About my interior - please take a look at the picture earlier in the thread as well as the one below,

Yes, I have power seat controls on both seats and have a complete MB-Tex interior in a light grey which I think was just called grey back when the model was introduced. Also, the wood trim on the door panels is a zebrano wood trim. Please let me know if you know of a parts supplier for my car over there - in case I need other parts.

I would greatly appreciate if you could find me the door panels, and I was also looking for seat pad cushion for passenger side - it is worn out and not as firm as driver's side.

Once again ,

thank you much

Troy

Troy,
I think you might have forgotten, but do you have that number for the place for the headlights? Thanks.

...just a question...Are those locking pins standard in the US or are they custom changed?

Steve

Yes,

If by locking pins, you mean the knobs that can be pulled or pushed down, yes those are standard - I've never seen a US 202 C-class without them - please let me know about the door panels when you find something out.

Thanks,
Troy
