Is my water pump shot???

Vehicle: 1986 300E, M103

I did a coolant flush and was trying to "burp" my system when I noticed coolant leaking from the rear of the water pump.

Does it mean that my water pump is out and needs to be replaced??

Thank you...

best to look and actually see it coming out the weep hole. it could be leaking somewhere else. if it is the weep, yes, it is shot.

make sure its not the hose leaking.
the weep hole is in the front and hard to see
even with a mirror.
i have seen them leak in the back. there is a big cover there.
but again make sure its not the hose.

in front on the bottom of the casting so that leaking water can get out.
