First Thanks gents for the previous help on my 300D turbo project. The riddle to why my battery kept dying is the voltage regulator/brushes a $30.00 fix.I got everything put back together took her for a test spin, all seemed well.As I pulled into my driveway I saw alot of smoke coming out of the front passenger side, but not from the engine from wheel/
I removed the tire to find it searing hot(tire rim and rotor).I tried to turn the assembly and it was very stiff when I removed the driver side tire and turned the wheel it was easy to turn.I did notice the brake light came on once I stopped.Could my caliper be seized??? Roboman |
Yes, I do see many siezed calipers. Also, the hoses tend to collapse...If you do a rebuild, don't take the caliper halves apart for you will not be able to find the o-rings that join them back up.
Be sure to replace the brake hoses too. |
