Ok, here's the delima. On my 86 300e, I have to replace the netting on the back side of the front seat. So, I am trying to take the back panel off of the back of the seat. This is the passengers side by the way. So, I found the two screws in the bottom and took them out. I figured the cover would kind-of slip down and come out. Well, that doesn't seem to be happening. Before I mess up the interior of my car, are their any tricks I should know? I can't imagine that it is that hard, but then again, I'm sometimes an idiot. Help me PLEASE. Thanks.

removal of back panel of passenger seat.

Its a piece of cake. Simply remove the two screws and then take a wall paper steamer and steam the fabric of the back panel. The steam will loosen the panel. Be sure to turn on the defrosters so that you do not fog up the windows. To replace the panel simply mix baking flower with water and brush the solution onto the fabric and affix to the back of the seat. Let dry overnight. Crack windows to prevent humidity from accumulating inside the car but only a wee bit .. just in case it rains.
