Little blinking red light
 

If the little red light on my radio is blinking does that mean it has power or could it be the internal radio battery keeping this red light blinking? This is on a 1994 e320.

Its the anti theft light which is hooked into the factory alarm system.

I used to have this on my original radio which I have replaced. When you brought this up I came to think of that this may have been at the same time my alarm stopped working..?

Does anybody know if there should be a special connector on some leftover wire to make the alarm work, or if it was just coinciding?

(The immobilizer still works, but not the intruder alarm)
