Why?
 
Why would you want to refuel a fire? Why not just let it burn out and be done with it?

Somewhere on my computer I have a film clip taken from security cameras that shows a young lady start fueling her car, reenter the car, then comes back out to finish the fueling, only to have a fire start at the filler neck once she touches the filler handle.

these things do happen if you have static electric built up. Always discharge yourself before getting out of the car.
