ASR and ABS lights came on?
 

I have a 1998 SLK 230 and my wife drives it. she said the ASR and ABS lights came on and then the Cruz control will not work. Brakes are good. Can anyone help. Thanks POP's

ABS/ASR is the traction system...you need to have that system scanned for codes.

Have you recently replaced any of the tires?

replace the brake light switch on the brake pedal[use only genuine from mb]it carries extra circuit aside from lights which has gone bad.very common problem.after replacement turn wheels lock to lock slowly to reset steering angle sensor. david poole european performance dallas tx.
