The BJ press work great. I tried heat and a big crowbar. Nothing worked but the press.

I usually get by w/ a BFH, my pref'd is a 6lb steel sledge.... When they are Really difficult heat the outside carrier and cool the bj w/ water (or when I have it a can of dust off turned upside down).

ok, i be tryin this again tomorrow. wish me luck. this time i have 2 sets of tools - one fron AZ and one from Napa. I will use the fork as intended - not for prying. also have a pitman puller which i will first use for removing the upper bj connected to the upper control arm.

once i get this off the lower bj should be very accessible and easier to work on.
