That's a neat bit of history!

Well worth the effort to get. That was HUGE money for a car, and yet they are still loaded with quality, safety, comfort and prestige today. Can't say that for many other sedans of that vintage.

I called MBUSA Classic center (got their phone number from the MBUSA website, I think) and provided them with the vin (no charge). At the same time, I registered as the owner of said vehicle for their database. A few days later, voila! There it was, in the mail. I am considering ordering the "birth Certificate" they offer, but haven't decided if it is worth the asking price.

Anyone have one they can post a pic of?
