Fuel pump leak?

My fuel pump leaks on my 88 560 SEL. Does anyone know how this is possible and if it repairable? It is not the connection it is the pump???

Thanks,

Possibly repairable depending on how creative you get. I'd just replace the pump. After all you're driving one of the finest cars in the world for almost free, when people are making mothly payments on crappy little Dodge Neons. Also you should have two pumps.
