97 E420 fog, side marker light & horn HELP

Now I found another problem, the horns are not working, driver's side fog lamp and side marker light is not working. I changed the bulbs but still the same. I've checked the fuse box under the hood and on the left side of the dash and eveything is normal. does anyone have the fuses index/diagram/list for those fuses on the side dashboard?
Also the passanger head rest will not go down or up. it is in the highest position. I got the car used so I don't have any manuals at all. Perhaps someone could point me where I could get the manuals (online?).
Need help....

thanks in advance

These are all fairly common probs. The horns, usually are the horns. There's one in front of the radiator, easy to check there if you can use a testlight or volt meter to check power. The second one is a bit harder, let me know if you need more info, but roughly we are talking under the right side headlight, kinda buried and usually is done from under the car, hard to describe.
Foglights; if you have one working the other should work too. The usuall prob is corrosion at the top of the foglight where the wires under the foglight assm. Again easier to do the job than try to describe how to fix it. Is bad enough that I believe there is a bulletin out on it from MB(and a kit to fix it).
Side marker, usually just the bulb, again I'd try for a voltmeter to check for power and ground on that one. I assume you mean the amber one on the side, or do you mean the inner clear one (inboard of the headlight itself)? If it's that one there is a bulletin and a fix for that too. MIGHT be warranty yet (if I remember this was a recall, I could be wrong, so you should check with a dealer to have them check VMI for any outstanding service campaigns).
On the headrest, MORE than likely it just cam out of the power adjuster rack, try slapping the headrest downwards to see if it pops in. If that fails, you may need a new headrest adjuster mechanism.

Gilly,

Thanks for the input. I just got back from Fry's Electronic to get my Voltmeter. The LCD display of the one that I have was burned, probably because I left it in the car too long.
The side markler is the amber on the side.
So I will check if there are power in there and post my findings.
Thanks for your help ;)

Frank, your local MB dealer can get you an Owner's Manual for a nominal price.

Thank you guys,

Gilly, you're right, no power on horn, left fog light and left side amber marker light. I checked the fuses under the hood and left side dash but found nothing's wrong. Wires looks okay. What else should I do??

Fred, I called MB dealer, manual is about $25. they wanted to know specifically which one I need so they can order for me. I guess I need to show them what I have to know what's missing

No success on head rest as well.

If there is no power at the horn or foglight, then I'm NOT right, I suspected a pair of bad horns (not uncommon) and corroded foglight connector(also very common). The amber bulb is a fairly common bad bulb, but you had said you replaced the bulb, so no good idea there other than what you've already done. You need a wiring schematic.
On the seat backrest, you can tilt the backrest all the way forward and there are 2 screws at the base of the backrest rear cover, remove those and the cover will be able to come off easily, then you can check for power at the headrest raise/lower motor. Are you able to pull the headrest assembly up, or does it seem attached to the raise/lower mechanism?
