88' 190E 2.3 5speed Swap part #2
 

the 4 speed auto trans for my car has an electronic plug wired to it, leading up under the dash and thats as far as i could trace it . now my question is first off , what does it do ? and second , if i am installing a 5 speed stick then what should i do with the plug ?? and there is also a vacume line running to the trans and i dont know what its for or what i should do with ether one of these items when i install the 5 spd trans . please anyone with info help me . thanks .


p.s - i have the drive shaft ,clutch/brake pedal assembly w/line, trans , shifter, crossmember, linkage, flywheel and hardwere out of the doner 5spd car and i am planing on geting a new clutch w/ throwout bearing , preasure plate , cover etc.
