W210 Battery Disconnection

Hi, all:

I have a simple question but cannot find a simple answer, LOL.

97 E320 has the battery under the rear seats. Is there a way to disconnect the battery without lifting the seats?

Thanks.

Just in front of the passenger side of the rear seat is the ground cable connection, under a sliding plastic cover. You can disconnect the battery there.

check your manual....

if fitting is same for your year, at the lower front corners of the rear seat
is a rectangular recess. stick your fingertips in and pull straight up towards
the roof. pull the corner away a few inches...then do same for the other corner
