2000 S430 Navtech CDs?
 

I want to buy a set of 2005 Navtech CD for my 2000 S430... is there any special procedure? Does the Command radio need to be updated? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The NAVI system on your 2000 S-Class uses CD-ROM. Starting in model year 2004, the S-Class changed to a DVD format. Unfortunately, the new disc won't work in your car.

there was a change is cd's also from 2000-2001. 2000 S class cars had C coded discs. 2001-2003 had D coded discs. They are not interchangable.

Check your Nav system whether "C" or "D". If it is "D", there is a new CD version recently came out. It is 11/2005 release. It works perfectly and i am using it now. It will cost you around $300 for whole set. Just insert the CD and it will load by itself. Do not interrupt during loading and follow screen instruction.:)
