Wiper greasing on 124

anybody got a DIY or some nice pic's on how to opent he 124 wiper system ??
It's about to burn the motor so I need to grease it some... I've done it on my w202 but that was a walk in the park compared to this it looks like...

do i have to "remove it" from car to open it ??

Yes, you do have to remove it to open it. There are four phillips screws underneath the head that can be a 8!+(# to get loose. Once they are loose get ready for parts to fly everyhwere if you're not careful.

Good luck,

Do a search on this forum. I've seen a few long threads that discuss lubricating the wiper mechanism. Be aware that there are a few versions of that wiper with different procedures for disassembly.
If it is stuggling to operate you shouldn't let it go too long as it can score bushings and shafts as well as overloading the motor.
For a lubricant, I use Dow Corning 33 extreme temperature grease (silicone based). It comes in medium or light consistency (can't remember which I used). Where I'm located it can get down to -30 C, so I don't want the grease in the wiper mechanism to go hard as a rock.
