W201 belt tensioner torque

Howdy,

I own a 190d 2.2 W201 which recently started making squeaking noises with the A/C on. Sure enough, as has been advised here before, the tensioner had come loose. This was no problem to tighten but I did not find the torque for the pivot anywhere. Does anybody have a torque recommendation? I just tightened it thoroughly, but I was concerned to put too much torque on it.

If anybody is hearing a squeaking noise with the A/C on--better check your tensioner. If the loop of belt over it is cockeyed, it has come loose.

thanks,
sholin
