1989 300E Fuel Filter

Are the fuel filter(s) difficult to change? Suggestions?

Probably not as easy as some cars. Suggestions would include observing the arrow on the filter so you're not confused when you put it on. Make sure you get a pair of copper sealing rings for the banjo bolt on one side. After loosening the fittings, get the screws loosened that hold the filter to the clamping band.

It's under a plastic cover.

You're going to need a tool to clamp off the line or you'll empty your gas tank by the time you get everything connected back up.

NO NOT ignore advice to get new seal washers.

Seems obvious, but ask me how I always remember this now...
