No reverse in a E320 1994 Help!
 

I have no reverse gear on my E320 1994, all other gear works fine, I read this is a weak spot on this cars, I want to know if there anyone with this problem and if there are some instruccion on how to take down the trasmission, Thanks in advance:(

Just hadda' replace my trans in my '93 400E about 4 months ago. Same symptoms. No reverse. My 400E only had 83K on the odometer.

A good independent tranny repairman can easily fix the problem at low cost relative to a new or rebuilt tranny. usually caused by cracked seal in front clutch, but may be 'B-1 piston failure--which can be fixed with tranny in car.

There is someplace were I can see a detail picture of the parts of the transmission, thanks in advance, other question where is located the B1 piston in the trans. Thanks :(
