'87 190E 2.3 A/C Compressor Relay...where is it?
 

Hi,

I'm trying to run down a condition where the a/c compressor won't engage. The low pressure switch is OK as is the fuse #2.

Is there a relay that controls the compressor clutch on the '87 W201. If so, could someone tell me where it is located please? I suppose I could always jumper 12V to the compressor clutch directly to test it but wanted to check the relay too.

it is behind the fuel pump relay. Take off the black plastic cover behind the battery... That relay beside OVP relay.
