87 230te i have lost electric feed to fuel pump, have checked fuses and replaced fuel pump relay unit but still no feed, have put in a tempory feed from towing plug so when sidelights are on it activates the fuel pump, have you got any ideas?.

The fuel pump relay must see a RPM signal fron the ignition system to energize the fuel pump.

The ignition module processes the ac voltage signal from crank sensor into DC voltage frequency & sends it to Tachometer & fuel pump relay.

no power to fuel pump
thanks very much for your help, will check crank sensor over week end, is the ignition module on the nearside inner wing or behind battery beside relay,
