My rearview mirror had started to shake a lot more than normal over bumps. So I looked through the archives and found out that I just had to pull down hard on the mirror. Well I did, and let me guess, the silver metal plate isn't supposed to come with it right? Is this a junkyard item or would parts shop have this?
Thanks
Darryl

If the silver metal plate came off with the mirror, you can screw it back in again I presume...
Take the plate of the foot of the rear view mirror and screw it back to where it belongs.
