simple question about taillight compatability
 
I'm in need of a new right taillight for my '89 300SEL. It is my understanding that a taillight from any W126 model will fit properly. Is this correct?

and the trunk lids too. but not any of the doghouse, not any of the body and not any glass or interior excepting the dash and console stuff.
