126/123 power steering pumps interchange?

will a pump from my 123 diesels work on my 84 500sec?

i know the pulleys are different. i assume i would have to at least change that.

I believe they are, after seeing as many as I have in the yards of SF. I used a used w123 pump on my w126 after the original sounded bad and since then it's worked fine.
