Euro Headlamp question

Got a LH Euro headlamp for my sons 300TE.
Upon looking at it, I noticed a few things.

1/ The white plastic electrical pin connector has only 4 pins arranged in a square... there is a 5th, above the 4 to the right, but it looks like it is broken off nearly flush with the plastic. Is that pin needed?

2/ The unit still has a wiper arm and motor connected. Is this the same as the USA version?

3/ There apears to be a vacum pot in the lamp unit, and a connector on the white plastic electrical bit mentioned above... I assume it a level device on euros... can I ignore it?

Hope I did the right thing buying it....
I am looking for a RH unit now!
What else do I need to get this all working?

Installer was a butcher rather than a mechanic and failed to use the proper six-pin connector. Insallation of Euro lites on a USA car requires this.

Cut-off pin was likely for "city lights."
