W124 500E front-hub contact-spring keyed ?
While re-packing and re-adjusting my front hub bearings, I noticed that it was missing the front-hub contact-spring that's used to reduce electrical interference.
I ordered a pair (pn# 201 547 00 85) and tried to install it, but it would not seat down like it does on my 1988 300TE. Is it keyed a certain way ? Any suggestions ? TIA, :-) neil |
