air pump bearing sources

I need to replace the bearing on the air(smog) pump - 91 560SEL. It is getting too noisy. Anyone knows where I could get this bearing? There is one place "The Expediter" - $90 . I was wondering if there are other sources out there that I can check out.

thx,
emmy

the model referred to in the above link is a 91 300SEL. Does anyone know whether the air pump bearing for a 91 560SEL is the same as the 91 300SEL?

thx

Need help in removing the bearing

I have removed the hex nut and have removed the shaft pump out of the way.
Now I need to figure out how to remove the bearing out. I see that the bearing goes out towards the pump end rather than the hex nut end. However, I also see that there are (6) places where it appears staked (flared) and looks like locks the bearing. Is this ring that I see on top of the bearing threaded in or do I just pop it up and out?

would appreciate inputs..

thx

just want to report that i have completed replacing the front bearing on the air/smog pump. I got the bearing from bearingsdirect.com as recommended.
thx to JP Rodkey and Bruno Mueller for sharing their experiences on the same DIY. The hardest part for me was torquing the nut to spec as it was hard to leverage with only an allen as counter. I used a special socket for an oxygen sensor ( has a cutout for the allen counter). my car is back to normal.

Which bearing did you get from bearingsdirect.com? Seem like they have about a million!

Thanks

If you can get the bearing out and copy down the numbers on it, they can more than likely cross-reference it for you.
