mercedes spring compressor
I know this has been discussed before. I plan to do my spring on my w126. Has anyone bought this brand of compressor before? Probably will use it once then sell it to another, or should loan the tool from one of the member here?

I bought mine on ebay for $200 including shipping, the trick is to find a seller that offers you the option of buyitnow or best offer. I have a w124 and a 140, which both cars need suspension repairs. If you like working on you own car and you're mechanically incline then buy the tool and save hundreds of $$. If you plan on keeping the car for a while then you will need it for other suspension parts that might need replacing. Hey it's your money.

Oh yeah, the great thing about owning a Mercedes is that the springs is easy to replace. Jack it up, put on the clamps, and bam! You're done, for the front it's easy, the rear takes more time then the fronts. shocks are easy also, loosen a few bolts and you're done. I'm not a mechanic, just like taking things apart
