hope your all having a good day...

My ASD light is constantly on...
ive cleaned the connectors on the relay and inspected the innards of the relay and it seems to be ok...

I have ran a diagnostic, running a wire from pin 5 in the diagnostic port and grounding it...the ASD light then flashes 8 times which tells me either the magnetic switch or the break light switch is broken...This Is per Yal's great Instructions

Does this seem reasonable or could it be something else? If it is this where is the magnetic switch and or break light switch...My car is a 1990 190E 2.5-16.
