need help removing OVP relay

Hi I am having trouble removing the overload relay in my 1987 300e. It wiggles but it wont slide out. There arent any brakets holding it down. How should I go about removing it? I have a new one to put in and I havn't been able to use it.
thanks

more wiggling...

it is plugged into its base with probably 8 pins or so...

you could cheat a little and get a butter knife to start to process of prying it from its base.

don't use the knife with leverage...it should nt' take much to start it then hold the base in one hand and pull it off or mostl likely wiggle it off..

put some di-electric grease on the new pins..
