1986 300SDL: CCU parts list?
Anyone have a parts list or schematic for an 86 300SDL CCU? I'm going to rebuild mine but some of the transistors' #'s are unreadable. I've already replaced all the capacitors in mine and am building a list of parts as I go but any help would be great, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't bother replacing the transistors unless you know they have a problem. When you did the caps, I hope you used hi temp (85c or higher) capacitors of a very good brand such as Panasonic or Nichicon. Regular cheap electrolytics will probably not last.
I've never studied the circuits inside the CCU up close, but I would not be surprised to learn that there are a lot of close tolerance parts in there, and possibly matched components. Replacing anything other than caps might be an exercise in futility, or worse.

I have used Digikey in the past when rebuilding weird items... Servotronic steering in my 750iL for example.
As for a second gen climate head, just look around for a good used one. You can get it for less than $50 usually, surely your time is worth more than $50.
