Need Help! How to remove plastic grille only
 

I need help!!

I spoke to a MB dealer today about removing just the plastic grille above the wiper linkages and he said that it can be removed but didn't know how (he is the parts guy). I have seen some rivets kind of thingys around but don't know how to disengage them.

This would greatly help me to access the wiper motor to first decide whether I need the SWF or the Bosch type....and also possibly to decide if the motor is the issue.

Can anyone here point me how to remove the black plastic grille just above the wiper motor and the linkages? I can see through it with a flashlight but the motor is covered ... I want to get my hand on it.

Car is a 300E 2.8 (1993 4-Dr Sedan).
