i didnt want to pry in his business, just wondering what to expect to pay for a similiar car if it were available. i have been looking for an older collectible (maybe a c36), etc...and saw a 1983 300sd with 10,000 original miles that did not sell due to not reaching reserve on ebay that had what i consider to be high bid of 23,000. of course there is no way to tell what the reserve was.

Yep, me too. I'm not a 123 guy either, but that is one of the best MB's I've ever seen, period, and probably the only 123 I would consider owning.
