Strange noise
On my 1982 300sd there is a strange noise when i hit the brakes at low speeds. Sounds like a loud thump. I do not know wtf it is any help would be very much appreciated.

The thump happens at speeds below five mph. Sounds like it something is shifting weight under the hood

Probably worn guide rod mounts.
