Can you tell me where the SRS energy accumulator(C1) and the SRS voltage converter(N24) components are located on a 86 560SL, I found the control Unit (N2/2) just ahead of the ashtray and the red 10 pin plug on the left side kick panel, but cant find the other 2, I suspect they may be missing from the vehicle.

MB replaced the function of those devices with subsequent crash sensors if I recall. There is a bulletin about it. I don't know which years but I would say that you either fall within the modified years or are after; where the cars never had the devices.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think these are located behind the trim panel on the left side behind the drivers seat, like in the area between the rear edge of the door and the rear wheel.....Gilly
