obtaining MB part numbers

is there any way to find out what MB part numbers are from online shops like fastlane so I can check with the local dealer to see if they have them? i can search by PN, but I can't go the other direction.

i want to know for getting stupid little parts like seals and gaskets quick...

or is this secret sauce in the auto parts biz?

The only online seller that I know of that routinely shows MB p/n's is http://www.***************

And they don't list much in the way of anything outside the normal replacement items, meaning OE interior and body stuff as well as special engine parts remain dealer only items.

In the archives there's a link to a Russian website that has parts diagrams with part numbers.

There's also the link for "Legal EPC Software" at the top of the forum topic list.

Euro models cost a few extra dollars a year. This gets you the USA models as well.
