trunk ventilation flaps??

To get to our street one must first drive down a mile of limestone dirt road. No big deal ordinarily. My son's 420SEL gets alot of this dust inside the car and we couldn't figure out how it was getting in. Well tonight he decides to totally clean his car (after Dad told him 5 times) and we found these vents in the trunk. One has a rubber flap but the other was missing. Are these available new??

I'm wondering about those flaps too. Last year, when my battery exploded, it took out one of those flaps. (E420)

Huh?? The flaps I'm talking about are in the trunk. One on each side.

That's where they keep the battery on the 124 420's.
