They're all more or less the same.

Question still remains

I know about the availability of all aft mkt parts. I have priced them all. My question remains the same.....Are the MB rotors made of a different metal? I've been advised to use MB rotors. I wanted someone who knows the differences.
Thanks....

Noone knows the differences. The question is actually nothing but a personality test. If paying the highest price makes you feel good about yourself then you buy from the dealer, otherwise you don't. Balo, Brembo and ATE are all very good - OEM or equivelent. Whoever advised you to buy rotors from the dealer either had a vested interest in doing so or is someone who needs to pay the highest price to feel good about themselves.

in my experience selling lots of brake parts, brembo rotors are slighty lower quality of these three. the machining of the surface is not as smooth for one thing. balo have a nice smooth surface because that are surface ground, not just machined. ate are the OEM so if you get ATE from a jobber, they are probably exactly the same as what the dealer sells, only a bit less $.
