Oh, no one will tow it for me because it wont come out of park...????

Your dealer can't help??? Something doesn't sound right. All MB dealers have special tool 164-589-03-63-00. It's a free-wheeling hub assembly that bolts on between the wheel and either rear hub. It's specifically made for towing vehicles which are stuck in PARK.

stuck in park

my ml did the same thing...it spent the night at the Egg Roll Express drive thru window! don't know about your s class but there is a little button you can use an ink pen to press located under the "P N R D" letters near the shifter...put in the pen (or any other similar size object) and presto...the car will go into gear. my problem was the 'brake light switch' which only cost $13 for the part!

The W220 doesn’t have an emergency release feature to get the transmission out of “PARK”. This is because the 220’s don’t have a steering column lock. The shifter is actually part of the Drive Authorization System (DAS), and it's the only thing preventing someone from dragging it onto a flatbed and hauling it away.

Don't think the " pen "procedure will work. ;)
