4matic - run and hide?
Looking at 124 wagons. A few have 4matic. Have done searches here and read threads. I am of the impression that buying a MB with 130 to 200K miles with 4matic is probably not a good decision. I know, I know, depends on records, maintenance, PO driving habits and conditions, etc., but, I guess the essential balance is -- risk versus benefit of 4matic in an "older" MB.
Thanx for ideas, theories, diatribes, monologues, etc...

thanx guys -- confirms my gut feeling. I've never had 4WD and do not anticipate a need for it.
